Shoals Anglican Mission is an outreach of the Anglican Diocese of the South to bear witness to the Gospel of Jesus with the resources of the Anglican Tradition. The seeds of the Shoals Mission were planted almost 10 years ago when a member of the Shoals community attended a wedding at an Anglican church in Birmingham. Interested in this modern expression of ancient faith, a small group quickly formed that met together for roughly 7 years in prayer and worship. Pastors from other Anglican churches would visit this small group and provide preaching and the sacraments. We are connected to a worldwide fellowship of Christians over 40 million strong through its belonging to the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA). Shoals Mission is under the care and leadership of Assisting Bishop Frank Lyons of the Anglican Diocese of the South, and our lead Pastor, Lanier Nail. Our hope as a church is to grow in the Shoals area, and our prayer is for the Lord to send fellow workers to be in fellowship and to serve with us at Shoals Anglican Mission.
