Serving Jesus christ
Matthew 10:42 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Lanier serves as missionary pastor on behalf of the Anglican Diocese of the South. .
As an undergrad at the University of Alabama, he became very active in campus ministry and upon graduating, Lanier served as a campus missionary with the Assemblies of God for six years.
While serving at Jacksonville State University, he met Kari, and after praying her back from the mission field, they were married in 2001. Lanier and Kari now have three children: Laynie (12), Hallie (9), and Isaac (3).
Lanier graduated with an M.Div. from Beeson Divinity School in 2006 and was ordained as an Anglican in 2011.
